OMELESS PREVENTION ASSISTANC
The Housing Development Corporation of Rock Hill provides rental, utility, and mortgage assistance to eligible households facing eviction, shutoff, and/or foreclosure.
HDCRH receives funding for its homeless prevention program from various sources and the requirements for assistance change often. See the chart below for current requirements. To start the application process, fill out the Rent & Utility Assistance Pre-Application here.
To submit an application for rental or utility assistance, please use the links below or call our hotline at 803-817-5112. We have very limited funding and will process applications on a first come first served basis. We are limiting assistance to 1 month of either rental or utility assistance.
DO I QUALIFY FOR RENTAL ASSISTANCE?
Households must live in Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, or Catawba
Households must currently owe rent to their landlord.
Households must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
