The Housing Development Corporation of Rock Hill provides rental, utility, and mortgage assistance to eligible households facing eviction, shutoff, and/or foreclosure.

HDCRH receives funding for its homeless prevention program from various sources and the requirements for assistance change often. See the chart below for current requirements. To start the application process, fill out the Rent & Utility Assistance Pre-Application here.

Applications are processed in order as received. Please allow up to 5 business days for application processing. Staff will reach out as necessary for any additional information needed and for notification of application decisions. Please monitor your preferred method of contact as staff will move forward with other applications if they are unable to reach you after 5 business days for any additional information needed.

As of 4/17/2024 at 5:15pm, our homeless prevention portal is closed due to an overwhelming volume of applications. We want to ensure that each application receives the attention it deserves. Rest assured, we are diligently working through processing the applications we received. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We will contact each applicant as we come to an assistance determination. Thank you for your interest in our program.
