The Housing Development Corporation of Rock Hill provides rental, utility, and mortgage assistance to eligible households facing eviction, shutoff, and/or foreclosure.

HDCRH receives funding for its homeless prevention program from various sources and the requirements for assistance change often. See the chart below for current requirements. To start the application process, fill out the Rent & Utility Assistance Pre-Application here.

Due to the influx of applications received, we are currently not accepting applications for any of our homeless prevention assistance. We are not sure when more funding will become available, so please check back on this site weekly for updates. If you are in need of assistance, please call 211 or visit 211.org for additional resources.

Households must live in Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, or Catawba

Households must currently owe rent to their landlord.

Households must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
