OMELESS PREVENTION ASSISTANC

The Housing Development Corporation of Rock Hill provides rental, utility, and mortgage assistance to eligible households facing eviction, shutoff, and/or foreclosure.

HDCRH receives funding for its homeless prevention program from various sources and the requirements for assistance change often. See the chart below for current requirements. To start the application process, fill out the Rent & Utility Assistance Pre-Application here.

Applications are processed in order as received.  Please allow up to 5 business days for application processing. Staff will reach out as necessary for any additional information needed and for notification of application decisions. Please monitor your preferred method of contact as staff will move forward with other applications if they are unable to reach you after 5 business days for any additional information needed.

As of 5/22 at 5:49pm, we are no longer accepting applications for homeless prevention assistance. With the applications we received, we anticipate being out of funding by the time we process them. We want to ensure that each application receives the attention and consideration it deserves. Rest assured, we are diligently working through processing the applications received.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We will contact each applicant as we progress through the review process. Thank you for your interest in our homeless prevention assistance program.
